Walk for Hope | Loop vir Hoop | Tsamaya bakeng sa Tshepo

In celebration of Heritage day, Loop vir Hoop/Walk for Hope welcomes the community on

Monday, 25 September to meet at 09:00 at the Two Tower Church in the CBD.

We start our community pilgrimage at 09:30, and end the 5km circle route at 11:30 with snacks at the Two Tower Church.

Amongst other narratives, the Heritage walk crosses the Axes of Time in the CBD, and includes sharing contemporary

and historical memories of the old City Hall in Charlotte Maxeke street, the National Language Museum,

the First Raadsaal the Anglican Cathedral, Waaihoek, Hoffman Square and the Two Tower Church.

Narratives told by Kgosi Hendricks and architects, Jan Ras and Kobus du Preez facilitate story sharing during the walk.
